About FUZE
We're building a next-generation digital and energy platform for fleet electrification connecting vehicles, chargers, energy systems and operational data across the UK transport sector. Part of the HydraB Group, running on Microsoft Azure with Snowflake and Fabric.
The Role
A new kind of position for a new kind of builder. We're looking for someone who develops software primarily using AI-native tools - Claude, Claude Code, MCP servers, custom skills and agentic workflows. You'll rapidly prototype and build applications, create reusable tooling, and help colleagues across the Group adopt AI-assisted development. This is a creativity-first role. Traditional technical backgrounds are a bonus, not a prerequisite.
AI-Native Skills We Value
- Prompt architecture — designing reusable, maintainable prompt systems
- Context window management — working effectively within token limits
- Agentic workflow design — building multi-step autonomous processes
- Tool orchestration & MCP — connecting AI to real enterprise systems
- Quality judgement — knowing when AI output is production-ready
- Creative problem framing — seeing solutions others wouldn't think of
You'll Be a Great Fit If You
- Have built and shipped applications with Claude (show us your work).
- Have created or worked with MCP servers, skills, or plugins.
- Can explain these tools to someone who's never used them.
- Think the future of development is creativity + AI, not memorised syntax.
- Move fast, prototype relentlessly, and aren't afraid to throw things away.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Azure / Snowflake / Fabric experience
- API integration or data engineering background
- Developer advocacy or technical writing experience
- Familiarity with other AI platforms (Codex, Gemini, Cursor) for breadth
How to Apply
- A link to your work — GitHub, a live build, a portfolio site, a video walkthrough. If you've built something with Claude, show us that first.
- Your CV — we'll read it, but what you've built matters more than where you've worked.
- Two or three lines about why this role, not just any role.
The interview includes a practical build task using Claude — no whiteboard, no trick questions. Just build something. We'll talk about it together.
