We are on the lookout for a talented PHP Developer to join our friendly, hardworking team. You’ll be delivering innovative web solutions as well as helping drive the business forward. So, if you\’re seeking a new challenge in a fast paced, exciting agency environment this could be for you.

Who we\’re looking for

As well as technical prowess, we’re looking for someone who is full of ideas and can discuss them in a collaborative way. Someone who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and find innovative technical solutions to meet even the most complex of briefs. We have some specific requirements below, but ultimately, we need someone who is good at what they do and wants to get better and progress. An ideal candidate will be a real team player, motivated, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to provide our clients with outstanding work. Our clients aren’t all the same, so their requirements differ as well, so we’re not looking for someone who is solely an expert in one framework.

  • Strong PHP experience
  • CMS experience
  • Good MySQL knowledge
  • Fundamental appreciation of UI/UX
  • Good understanding of security concepts
  • Ability to take ownership of a project or issue, but also accept support
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative & a real team player
  • Deadline-conscious and able to work with the team to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Experience in a fast‑paced digital agency environment
  • System/Network administration
  • An understanding of server configuration
  • Experience with e‑commerce websites
  • Payment integrations (e.g. Stripe / PayPal / Sage)

This role is based in our Sheffield office.

Due to the nature of some of the work we undertake, we cannot offer this role as remote or to freelance applicants.

Our regular operating hours are 09:30-17:30. However, there may be times when we require you to work different hours, such as when project deadlines approach.
