We have a fabulous opportunity to join St Martins Lane in our Food & Beverage team as an F&B Runner.
Job Description
You will be assisting servers in delivering delicious drinks and food options to our guests’ tables by running a section in our busy restaurant or events department, by providing a highly efficient and effective service.
You Will
- Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
- Greeting and acknowledging guests whilst building a rapport.
- Recognising repeat guests and addressing them with their names.
- Delivers food and beverages in a timely fashion.
- Assisting F&B Server(s) as requested/needed.
- Double checking food coming out of the kitchen for any dietary/allergens needs flagged.
- Ensuring that all ordered food is announced to guests at their table.
- Communicating guest complaints and compliments to management.
- Communicating guest special occasion to staff/management i.e. anniversaries, birthdays, proposals etc.
- Be knowledgeable of food and drink menus offered and be able to answer queries and/or offer suggestions if asked.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role we ask that you have:
- Previous experience within hotels or service-based industry would be ideal but not required.
- Good communication skills.
- Sense of urgency.

- Can do attitude.
- Have a genuine passion for food and beverage.
