Company Description

We’re looking for a Finance Director to join the team at Ennismore. This role will handle financial reporting, cash management, budgeting and forecasting, relationships with banks and auditors, insurances, internal control, and tax planning. You’ll drive financial performance and compliance across the organization, manage day-to-day finance operations, and play a key role in projects aimed at improving long-term financial performance.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

1. Take ultimate responsibility for all financial matters, working with management to implement the company’s strategy and achieve long-term objectives.
2. Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) in accordance with shareholder and management requirements.
3. Present and explain financial performance to relevant stakeholders regularly.
4. Lead budgeting and reforecasting processes to reliably forecast the company’s activity and financial performance.
5. Manage all cash processes, monitor working capital, and ensure proper planning and financing of investments.
6. Participate in strategic restructuring projects critical to the company’s long-term success.
7. Lead, develop, coach, and motivate the Finance team to meet key objectives over the long term.
8. Ensure internal controls are in place and effectively implemented across the business.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

1. 10+ years of finance experience, including a previous Finance Director role.
2. Bachelor/Master degree in Finance or MBA, with accounting qualifications.
3. Experience in challenging situations or turnaround scenarios.
4. Prior experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
5. Rigorous and hands-on approach.
6. Ability to build strong partnerships and manage stakeholder expectations.
7. Strategic decision-making and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong business acumen.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
