We are now seeking a Tenancy Management Advisor to join our frontline Neighbourhoods & Tenancy Services team and play a key role in delivering a responsive, customer-focused housing service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the first point of contact for ASB and tenancy management queries (desirable but not essential)
- Provide clear, accurate advice and guidance to customers
- Support early intervention approaches including mediation and prevention
- Manage and update case records accurately using CRM systems
- Support tenancy changes including joint-to-sole applications, household updates and bereavement cases
- Investigate issues such as abandonment, illegal subletting and tenancy breaches
- Carry out risk assessments and support case planning
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies including police, local authorities and safeguarding partners
- Ensure full compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding, GDPR and organisational policies
About you:
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and customer-focused, with experience in housing, ASB or a similar frontline service environment. Excellent investigative and case management skills, with the ability to assess risk, gather evidence, and maintain accurate records. Some knowledge of housing law, tenancy processes and safeguarding principles. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations.
