If you’re an experienced Repairs Specialist who can turn their hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in their work we'd like to hear from you. As a Repairs Specialist at Hyde, you’ll be working in our homes carrying out day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance and delivering exceptional customer service to our residents.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out multi‑trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenance
  • Fixing day‑to‑day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooring
  • Completing patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and similar finishing works
  • Working on your own jobs but also alongside other trades when needed
  • Following work orders and reporting back on progress and materials used
  • Consistently working safely and following Hyde’s health and safety procedures
  • Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid experience across multiple trades, especially carpentry, plumbing and plastering
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workload
  • A practical problem‑solver who can spot issues and fix them properly
  • Good communication skills and a customer‑friendly attitude
  • Physically fit and happy with hands‑on work
  • Experience working in social housing is a bonus
  • A full, valid UK driving licence

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and general maintenance.
