About the opportunity

As a Design Engineer you will be working on:

  • Jigs, Fixtures and special purpose machinery for the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Nuclear Industries.

Design Engineer Main Duties:

  • 3D model designs of tooling/machinery components.
  • 2D detail drawings for manufacture.
  • Technical documentation creation.

Design Engineer Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in any/all of the following CAD packages: SolidWorks, Siemens NX, CATIA V5.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office software suite.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Design Engineer Desired Skills:

  • Aerospace, Defence or Nuclear industry experience.
  • Time served Toolmaker/Pattern Maker.

Design Engineer Desired Experience:

  • UKCA/CE Marking process.
  • FEA Analysis / Basic calculations.
