About the opportunity
We have a vacancy for a Quality Assistant at our divisional head office in Dukinfield, within the Hyde Aero Products Divisional Quality Department.
This role supports a cross‑functional, growing team and offers training with a clear pathway to a Quality Engineer or other higher quality assurance positions.
The company provides thorough training and development opportunities for motivated individuals without prior experience in quality management.
Main Duties
- Document configuration control.
- Review, organise and verify documentation for completeness.
- Consult with suppliers and business units within the Hyde Group.
- Assist in managing large projects and updating action trackers.
- Support staff by undertaking ad‑hoc projects when needed.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations.
- Answer email queries.
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ideal candidate
- Excellent communication skills.
- IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Strong team‑working ethic, highly proactive and motivated.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and/or off site if required.
- Excellent customer‑facing skills.

- Experience or awareness of quality management systems.
