Hyde Group's maintenance team is recruiting a multi-trade operative for voids work. The role covers carpentry, including fire doors, alongside plumbing, plastering and general repairs across the housing stock. It comes with a company van and fuel card, and social housing experience is desirable. A clean full UK driving licence is required.
What the job involves
- Carpentry work, including constructing, installing and repairing wooden structures and doors
- Working with other maintenance staff to complete full property projects
- Following safety protocols and guidelines
- Keeping accurate records of work done and materials used
- Giving good customer service to residents
What's required
Experience
- Proven experience across several trades, including carpentry, FRA fire doors and general maintenance
Skills & knowledge
- Knowledge of trade-specific techniques, materials and safety protocols
- Working independently and as part of a team
Checks & eligibility
- Full, clean UK driving licence
