If you re an experienced Plumber who can turn their hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in their work we'd like to hear from you. As a Plumber, you ll be working in our customers homes carrying out day?to?day repairs and maintenance delivering an exceptional customer service. What you ll be doing
- Carrying out multi-trade repairs, with a primary focus on plumbing, while undertaking a range of general maintenance tasks as required.
- Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day repairs including leaks, blockages, pipework issues, minor wall repairs, flooring repairs, tiling, and basic carpentry works.
- Completing repairs to kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas of customers' homes to a high standard.
- Undertaking associated works such as patch plastering, sealing, decorating touch-ups, and replacing fixtures and fittings.
- Working independently to manage your own workload while collaborating with other trades on more complex repairs and projects.
- Accurately recording work completed, materials used, and updating progress through work orders and reporting systems.
- Delivering excellent customer service and keeping residents informed throughout the repair process.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Hyde's health and safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes
- Solid experience across plumbing with the ability to undertake other jobs
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication skills and a customer?friendly attitude
- Physically fit and happy with hands?on work
- Experience working in social housing is a bonus
- A full, valid UK driving licence
