About the opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a dependable and flexible individual to join our team in a combined Driver & Labourer (Logistics Support) role. This is a hands-on position supporting the movement, handling, and dispatch of engineering components across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and collect parts, materials, and documentation to/from customers and suppliers.
  • Support logistics activities including goods-in, dispatch, and internal movement of parts.
  • Load, unload, and handle components safely, ensuring protection and traceability.
  • Assist with packing and preparation of shipments in line with customer requirements.
  • Maintain delivery records, paperwork, and stock traceability where required.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
  • Support general labouring duties across the site as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with external contacts.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Previous experience in a driving, logistics, or labouring/warehouse role (preferred).
  • Ability to handle engineering components safely.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Flexible, reliable, and willing to support multiple functions.
  • Basic understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Working Hours
