As Ti G Welder

You will specialise in precision aluminium welding including

  • TIG welding of thin-gauge aluminium (typically 0.8mm – 3mm).
  • Producing high-quality fillet and butt welds to aerospace standards.
  • Manual torch brazing of aluminium and stainless steel (aluminium experience highly desirable).
  • Working to tight tolerances and deadlines.
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to aircraft quality standards.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining an organised, safe working environment.

About You – Requirements

  • Proven TIG welding experience (aluminium experience highly desirable).
  • Experience with thin materials and cosmetic / high-integrity welds.
  • Aerospace, defence, or high-spec fabrication background preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
