The Hyde Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a Digital Applications Assistant based at our divisional head office in Dukinfield. This role is ideal for a graduate or early-career candidate who wants to gain hands-on experience in digital transformation, systems implementation, and Industry 4.0 technologies within a high-tech engineering environment.

Main Duties
- Digital Systems & Projects
- Support implementation of new digital systems across the business.
- Assist in developing and testing system solutions from concept to deployment.
- Work with IT and engineering teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
- Contribute to ERP and manufacturing system improvements.
- Data, Reporting & Automation
- Develop dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI).
- Analyse data to support operational and management decisions.
- Help automate manual processes using digital tools and AI concepts.
- Support data integrity, migration, and system performance improvements.
- Process Improvement (Industry 4.0)
- Work on initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Support proof-of-concept work through to full business deployment.
- Collaborate with Continuous Improvement teams to implement change.
- Training & Support
- Create clear documentation and user guides.
- Support training of system users across the business.
- Provide first-line support for digital tools and systems.
Essential Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork.

- Ability to produce clear, well-written documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
