The Hyde Group are established industry experts within Aerospace Engineering and have a new vacancy for a CNC Turner, working at our busy manufacturing site in Denton. We are one of the UK's largest and most trusted engineering companies, providing products and services to Aerospace, Nuclear, Energy and Scientific sectors. We have successfully supplied to the Aerospace industry for over 50 years.
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC lathes to produce precision aerospace components to tight tolerances and exacting quality standards:
- Program, set, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls.
- Manufacture complex aerospace components from technical drawings.
- Work to AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.
- Conduct in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision or aerospace engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of Mazak machines and Mazatrol programming.
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100.
