As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be part of the team that manufactures products for a variety of aerospace and defence clients performing a full range of sheet metal operations in line with our Standard Operating Procedures, whilst working to the approved quality standards. You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, follow in house routing/processes ensuring that the correct calibrated equipment is used.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
- Time served sheet metal worker with a solid engineering background; aerospace, pharmaceutical, medical, any high quality industry – the vast majority of our work is thin gauge aluminium.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail; producing high quality, close tolerance components.
- Experience of key processes: rubber press, hand form, profiling parts after form, countersinking, wheeling, rolling.
