Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a warm, seamless, and memorable arrival and departure experience, always putting people first and creating a genuine sense of welcome at Hyde and Seek Hotel.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes with precision and efficiency, ensuring accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests, queries, and feedback with professionalism, warmth, and care.
- Provide personalised service by recognising returning guests, preferences, and special occasions.
- Maintain a polished and inviting Front of House environment, ensuring every detail reflects the hotel’s unique character and energy.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams to deliver a seamless and elevated guest experience.
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery with confidence, turning every interaction into a positive and lasting impression.
- Promote room categories, hotel experiences, and services in a natural and engaging way to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Ensure accuracy in billing, payments, and cash handling procedures, maintaining trust and operational excellence.
- Support the wider Front Office team during busy periods, contributing to a collaborative and guest-focused environment.
- Contribute ideas to enhance the guest journey, bringing creativity and personality to the Front of House.
- Represent Hyde and Seek Hotel with pride, embracing its connection to the local community and its distinctive spirit.
About You:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Receptionist role, ideally within hotel environment.
- A natural host with a genuine passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to putting people first, both guests and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the guest experience is delivered with care and precision.
- Confident in handling guest feedback and resolving challenges with professionalism and empathy.
- Well-organised, able to multitask effectively while maintaining high standards.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to enhance the guest journey through thoughtful recommendations.
- Professional, polished, and committed to excellence in presentation and service.
