Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a warm, professional, and reassuring overnight Front of House presence, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, safe, and cared for at Hyde and Seek Hotel.
  • Operate with a people-first mindset, creating meaningful guest interactions even during overnight hours through attentive, thoughtful service.
  • Manage late arrivals and early departures with efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Act as a key point of contact for guests during the night, handling requests, feedback, and service recovery with calm professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
  • Uphold a commitment to pursuing excellence, ensuring all Front Office processes are completed accurately and to a consistently high standard.
  • Complete essential night procedures, including reporting, system updates, and preparation of a detailed handover for the morning team.
  • Liaise effectively with Night and Day teams to ensure continuity of service and a seamless guest journey.
  • Monitor hotel security and safety procedures, responding promptly and appropriately to any incidents or concerns.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest requests and room requirements are prepared for the following day.

About You:

  • Previous hotel experience in a Reception, Night Reception, within a hotel environment.
  • A natural host with a calm, confident presence and a strong belief in putting people first, both guests and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing guest accounts, billing, and operational procedures.
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts, maintaining focus, professionalism, and energy throughout the night.
  • Warm, clear, and composed communication style, with the ability to create trust and reassurance for guests.
  • A professional who acts with integrity, taking ownership of responsibilities and making sound decisions independently when required.
  • A true ambassador for Hyde and Seek Hotel, bringing professionalism, care, and personality to every shift.
