Role Description

The Electrolyser Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising our unique electrolyser stack from kWs to MWs. Day‑to‑day tasks include designing system architecture, conducting performance testing, ensuring lab compliance, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will collaborate with our key partners in delivering research projects and implementing innovative solutions for our electrolyser stack. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Qualifications

  • Electrolyser stack design, electrochemical processes, and materials science background.
  • Proficiency in systems design, mechanical engineering, and troubleshooting technical challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills, data analysis capabilities, and problem‑solving experience.
  • Understanding of renewable energy systems and hydrogen production technologies.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols in hydrogen technologies is a bonus.
