The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Technical Account Manager to lead SEO and web development projects for our education clients. You’ll blend technical expertise, strategic thinking, and project management to deliver outstanding digital performance — while helping us grow through strong client relationships and retention.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute SEO and web development strategies tailored to universities, colleges, and online learning platforms.
- Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and on-page optimisation, overseeing site builds and redesigns to enhance visibility and UX.
- Manage full project lifecycles, coordinating designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.
- Analyse performance data across SEO and web metrics, turning insights into actionable improvements.
- Collaborate across creative, content, and dev teams to ensure integrated delivery and technical excellence.
- Ensure QA, accessibility, and SEO best practices across all web projects.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, adapting strategies as needed.
- Grow client partnerships — identify new opportunities, pitch solutions, and support business development efforts.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in SEO account management and web development project management (ideally in education or similar sectors).
- Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and local SEO, plus hands-on familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms).
- Skilled in tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and project management platforms.
- Confident communicator able to translate technical detail into client value.
- Commercial mindset with experience in client growth, new business, and project negotiation.
- Excellent organisational skills, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
