The opportunity: We seek an experienced and driven SEO Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will manage and execute successful SEO campaigns for our esteemed clients in the education sector. Additionally, you will play a key role actively contributing to the agency's growth through client retention efforts.
The day-to-day:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the unique needs of educational institutions, including colleges, universities, and online learning platforms.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, on-page optimisation, and technical SEO audits to maximise organic search visibility and drive qualified traffic.
- Analyse website performance, generate insightful reports, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, and designers, to ensure seamless execution of SEO initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in the SEO industry, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Work with new and current clients to grow further revenue opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our SEO services.
- Ensure mutually beneficial agreements and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and educational webinars to expand your knowledge and represent the agency as a subject matter expert.
You should have:
- Proven experience in SEO account management, preferably within the education or related sectors.
- Solid understanding of on-page optimisation, technical SEO, link building, and local SEO strategies.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in new business development, lead generation, and client acquisition.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
