We are looking for a Senior Design Manager to lead all design activities on a £24m Distribution Centre project in Norwich. This senior role involves overseeing design teams, managing consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring all design deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor multi-disciplinary design teams.
- Chair design meetings and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with planning, Building Control, and BREEAM standards.
- Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering.
- Provide strategic input into procurement and project management processes.
