This is an opportunity to join a highly respected main contractor delivering a £25 million new-build distribution facility in Chatteris. The project forms part of a wider programme of industrial and logistics developments that are redefining the regional landscape.
You will be part of a well-structured team known for delivering complex industrial projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Contractor
Our client is an established UK main contractor with a strong track record in the industrial, logistics, and commercial sectors. They are recognised for their collaborative culture, commitment to innovation, and consistent delivery of large-scale projects for leading developers and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out, surveying, and carrying out QA checks on-site
- Ensuring all works meet design specifications and safety standards
- Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and the design team
- Producing accurate reports and maintaining site records
- Supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of works on site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large industrial or commercial projects
- Strong setting out and quality assurance background
- Proficient with Total Station and AutoCAD
- Relevant qualification (Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field)
- CSCS card essential
