An excellent Hybrid Assistant Team Leader Customer Service role based in Kettering, working full-time hours with shifts between 8am-8pm, offering a starting salary of £25,000 per annum. This role will be a Hybrid role with 2/3 days in their Kettering offices.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Team Leader who demonstrates previous or current experience in a senior customer service role, ideally with telephone experience. You will be able to support the Team Leader with the day-to-day leading of the team, coaching, setting and achieving targets, while also demonstrating excellent customer service with our customers and clients.
This Assistant Team Leader role would be suitable for an individual who has previously stepped up to support with the leading of a team, motivates colleagues, helps with coaching on quality and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Experience/Skills needed for this position:
- You will demonstrate experience of supporting or leading a team in a current or previous position.
- Experienced in working to individual targets, while supporting, guiding and monitoring the team.
- Deputising for the Team Leader during holiday or absences.
- To be able to multi-task with changing priorities on the day to meet business and client requirements.
- Customer service experience and telephony experience.
- Supporting and training new starters into the team.
- Confident using internal systems and providing data on calls and team.
- Able to provide affirming and constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Dealing with complaints/difficult customers.
- Teambuilding and motivating to create an engaged workforce.
- Requirement to work a variety of shift patterns to cover opening hours.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required, sometimes at late notice, as business needs or shift patterns dictate e.g. evenings, weekends, and Bank Holiday working.
- To be able to remain calm and collected in stressful situations.
