Print Estimation Lead in Edinburgh

Hours: 9-5 GMT

Location: Remote (UK Based), with quarterly in-person meet ups in Edinburgh or Glasgow

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum

About the role: We are seeking a senior Print Estimator Lead — someone who can confidently balance hands-on estimating with team leadership. You will manage a team of four estimators while remaining actively involved in quoting, reviewing, and processing orders. You will embed best practice in every workflow, ensuring accuracy, speed, and compliance across US print orders.

What you’ll do:

• Leadership + Management: Lead, coach and develop a team of estimators, embedding best practice and promoting a culture of accuracy.
• Hands-On Estimation + Order Processing: Manage end-to-end quoting, executing manual and supplier quotes, reviewing accuracy, and applying appropriate margins and mark-ups.

What you’ll bring:

• 3–5 years' experience in print production or estimation.
• Hands-on experience in digital and wide format print production and finishing.
• Proven team leadership or mentoring experience.
• Excellent understanding of print pricing structures, markups and cost modelling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage both your own orders and team oversight simultaneously.

Preferred: Background in print estimating, experience working with third-party print providers, proficiency in workflow software preferred.
