Duties & Responsibilities as a Team Leader – City Lounge

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the City Lounge, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Supervise, coach, and support a team of colleagues, including full-time, casual staff, and trainees, to achieve high performance.
  • Set clear objectives for team members aligned with departmental goals and regularly review progress.
  • Communicate departmental strategies and updates effectively in collaboration with senior management.
  • Maintain strong team communication through briefings, meetings, and operational updates.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by implementing action plans and ensuring customer satisfaction standards are consistently met.
  • Train and empower team members to confidently resolve guest queries and concerns.
  • Manage staff scheduling, labour costs, and support payroll processes in line with business targets.
  • Monitor and uphold service standards, appearance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
