Duties and responsibilities related to the Director of Sales role:

  • Create and implement the Hotel Sales Strategy to achieve forecasted and budgeted revenues.
  • Manage and develop the Sales team, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through direct sales, trade events, and networking.
  • Ensure all sales proposals, contracts, and communications comply with brand standards and hotel policies.
  • Review room and event space inventory and implement strategies to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Revenue, Operations, and other departments to drive commercial performance.
  • Monitor sales activity and market trends, adapting strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Foster a high-performing sales culture through coaching, training, and leadership.

You are an accomplished sales leader with significant experience in hotel sales, ideally within a luxury or five-star environment.
