Duties and responsibilities related to the MICE Sales Manager role

As MICE Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new meetings, incentives, conferences and events business while building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Working closely with the Sales, Revenue and Events teams, you will help position Park Hyatt London River Thames as a leading luxury destination for meetings and events.

  • Proactively identifying, developing and converting new MICE business opportunities.
  • Managing group and event enquiries, proposals, contracts and client negotiations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies and key accounts.
  • Conducting sales calls, client meetings, networking events and hotel site inspections.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the wider Hyatt Sales network to drive national and international business.
  • Reviewing conversion performance and supporting forecasting and reporting activities.
  • Ensuring all booking details are accurately recorded and successfully handed over to the Events team.

About you

You are a highly motivated and commercially minded sales professional with experience in hotel sales, groups and events, or the MICE sector. You have a proven ability to build relationships, identify new business opportunities and successfully convert enquiries into revenue. You are confident presenting to clients, conducting negotiations and representing a luxury brand with professionalism and credibility.

Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail allow you to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards. You enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and thrive in a fast-paced environment where relationship building and commercial success go hand in hand.
