Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located directly outside Blackfriars station, a few minutes away from Bank and is a short stroll from St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern and South Bank. The Grade II-listed five-star hotel is steeped in regal history, residing on the former grounds of King Henry VIII's Bridewell Palace. The hotel offers 205 stylish guest rooms and suites, 4 meeting spaces, 1 restaurant and 1 signature bar.
Duties & Responsibilities Related To The Bar Manager Role
- Lead the day-to-day operations of Leaf & Cane, ensuring it remains a vibrant, premium destination and delivers an exceptional guest experience.
- Drive service excellence by maintaining high standards in beverage quality, presentation, and overall atmosphere.
- Manage, train, and inspire the bar team, fostering a culture of professionalism, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and curate an innovative drinks programme that reflects Leaf & Cane’s unique concept and keeps the offering fresh and exciting.
- Oversee all aspects of beverage service, ensuring consistency, quality, and operational efficiency across the venue.
- Control inventory and costs, manage supplier relationships, and implement strategies to maximise profitability without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with marketing and events teams to create and deliver engaging promotions and experiences that strengthen the brand and attract guests.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
