Duties and responsibilities related to the Events Service Waiter/Waitress role:
- Deliver a high-quality Conference & Event dining experience, ensuring all guest expectations are met throughout their visit.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, including ingredients, allergens, and service standards.
- Provide professional, friendly service while assisting guests and handling enquiries or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Carry out opening and closing procedures in line with departmental standards and assigned responsibilities.
- Monitor operating supplies, minimising spoilage and wastage to support cost control and sustainability efforts.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage and Events teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide accurate information about the hotel, its services, and facilities, enhancing the overall guest experience.
About you:
You are passionate about delivering excellent service and enjoy creating memorable dining experiences for guests attending conferences and events. You are friendly, professional, and attentive, with a positive attitude and a strong focus on teamwork. You take pride in your presentation, communicate confidently with guests, and are able to work flexibly in a fast-paced events environment. Previous experience in food and beverage or events service is an advantage, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.
