This is a great opportunity for the CFO/FD to become a valuable team member of the international FT-100 company with the Head Office based in the heart of London. You will be working alongside the CFO and providing direction on accounting methodology, financial reporting and management accounting, budgeting and tax.
You will be responsible for providing financial information to ensure that the group complies with all regulations and statutory reporting matters, implementing Group-wide accounting standards, policies and ensuring systems are in place. Additionally, you will be leading the central finance function in analyzing consolidated reports and other financial information, supporting group taxation activities, being a member of the group audit committee, and working closely with the Investor Relations Department. You will be expected to take a significant part in planning the financial strategy of the Group and bringing new ideas to improve the standard of the financial departmentβs work.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Degree educated and ACA/CA qualified;
- Come from a Plc background, where they served as FD, CFO, or Deputy CFO;
- Sound experience of international finance, company law, corporate governance, risk management, internal audit, tax and treasury, as well as strategic development;
- Change management skills, strong communication skills, relationship building skills, strong delivery focus, commercial awareness, and great analytical skills.
