What you will do as a Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue for all aspects of the
business and for maximizing profitability for both Hyatt Regency & Hyatt House Manchester. The
role involves managing a list of accounts as well as developing new accounts & business across all
markets including Corporate & M&E predominantly within the local Manchester market so an
excellent knowledge of Manchester is highly desirable.
Some of the key processes include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with all customers to provide profitable and efficient account management.
- Use reports, local knowledge, competitive analysis and networking skills to find new opportunities for the hotel.
- Attract revenue in line with our business strategy and budget.
- Implement agreed Sales Action Plans related to their market areas.
- To follow up on all potential sales leads.
- Carefully plan sales calls into defined objectives.
- Conducts extensive competitor researches and maintains excellent product knowledge of the hotels.
- To produce and submit a monthly activity report and market conditions in relation to your account portfolio.
- To host and assist in client entertainment, familiarisation trips and Commercial department activities
- To carry out any other reasonable tasks that may be required from time to time.
About you:
Ideally you have already gained work experience and in depth knowledge of Manchester in the same or similar role, preferably within a prestigious hotel environment.
