Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the implementation of the Hotel People & Culture Plan, ensuring alignment with Hyatt’s culture, values, and budget.
  • Partner with GM, HODs, and central teams to drive succession planning, internal development, and a coaching culture, fostering respect, inclusion, and wellbeing across all associates.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and promote Hyatt as an employer of choice through local and online channels, demonstrating empathy and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Oversee HR operations including onboarding, HR system management, compliance with employment law, payroll, absence management, and performance processes, upholding integrity and fairness in all decisions.
  • Develop and implement learning and development initiatives, encouraging innovation and experimentation while ensuring brand compliance and personal growth for all associates.
  • Drive reward, recognition, and engagement programs, including surveys, social activities, and employee well-being initiatives, reinforcing Hyatt’s commitment to associate wellbeing and respect.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment laws, health & safety regulations, risk assessments, and industry standards, modelling integrity and accountability.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, influence, and collaborate across all levels with empathy, respect, and inclusion.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, employment law, and hospitality industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities while embracing experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to personal and professional development.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of work, modelling Hyatt’s values in every action.
