About Hyatt Place - London City East. The 280-room Hyatt Place London City East occupies a prime position in the bustling district of Aldgate on Whitechapel Road, close to Brick Lane and minutes from the heart of London’s Financial district. Our hotel is the first property under the Hyatt Place brand in Central London – we are now searching for a top receptionist.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide a great guest experience by enabling a smooth arrival and departure experience.
  • Become a brand ambassador, embodying the ethos and culture values.
  • Act as a local connoisseur, recommending local amenities, restaurants and events in buzzing East London.
  • Ensure that all guests have the appropriate credit facilities established.
  • Handle all payment transactions and billing.
  • Assist guests during their stay and handle guest needs.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities through upselling.
  • Provide all required information about the Hotel, available services, and facilities.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4* environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure are key.

  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time across a work shift.
