Duties And Responsibilities Related To The Handyperson Role
- As a Handyman, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and finish of the hotel through high-quality painting and decorating work, ensuring a clean, well-presented, and comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.
- Carry out maintenance tasks and repairs as directed, including painting, decorating, and minor carpentry work.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring a professional and courteous approach at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections and PPM checks across rooms and equipment, identifying and addressing defects proactively.
- Maintain lighting, fire doors, and general facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with standards.
- Keep plant rooms and work areas clean and report any faults or abnormalities using systems such as HotSOS.

You are an organised and reliable individual with experience in painting and decorating. You demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering high-quality finishes, maintaining excellent standards of presentation, safety, and workmanship throughout the hotel.
