About Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport: Hyatt Place combines style, innovation and 24/7 conveniences to create an easy to navigate experience for today’s traveler. Featuring 341 bedrooms and 10 meeting spaces, the hotel is located a short distance from Heathrow Airport and offers excellent transport links to central London.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as first point of contact for the department handling external visitors and day-to-day queries, maintain clean and organized office, order stationery as required, and attend meetings to take minutes.
- Manage all HR-related administration including colleague letters and references, oversee complete employment journey from starter packs to leaver documents, prepare intern/work experience paperwork, process transfers and promotions in HR system, and check colleagues’ eligibility to work.
- Administer benefits, run employee recognition programme, prepare monthly service awards and birthday cards/gifts, manage gifts for newborn babies and long-term sick colleagues, and assist with Colleagues Engagement Survey preparation and delivery.
- Organize colleague social events including People Parties, Retirement Parties, General Colleagues Meetings, Hyatt Talks, Staff Consultative Committee, Special Long Service events, and Global Town Hall, while preparing colleague communications via posters, electronic and social media.
- Maintain and update HR systems, follow up on probation periods, prepare monthly statistics including Headcount reports, and assist HR Manager with learning activities and administration while building strong cross-departmental communication.
About You:
Previous experience in a premium hospitality setting is preferred. You have strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and proficiency in conversational English to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
