Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Night Manager role:
- To ensure that your team are aware of hotel availability and take every opportunity to maximise room sales.
- To increase room revenue by managing effectiveness of room category upselling.
- To have a full understanding of all systems and programs e.g. Opera, Reserve, HySat etc.
- Develop the night team and actively coach on customer care skills, department procedures etc.
- Assist the Front of House Manager in the training, development and communication of departmental strategies and goals.
- Ensure that the handover procedures are followed, ensuring all information is obtained from the day shift ready for the night shift, and vice versa for the oncoming morning shift.
- Check hotel guests in and out and assist with luggage when required.
- Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner.
- Ensure all reservations have adequate.
