Role Overview

Working closely with the Head Housekeeper, you will ensure exceptional cleanliness standards, support and develop the housekeeping team, and help create memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Team
- Support the Head Housekeeper in motivating the housekeeping team.
- Assist with recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development of team members.
- Conduct daily briefings and allocate duties effectively.
- Promote a positive, engaged, and high‑performing team culture.
- Lead by example, delivering exceptional standards and service.
- Delivering Exceptional Standards
- Maintain guest bedrooms, suites, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces to the highest standards.
- Conduct quality inspections and room checks throughout the day.
- Support the team in achieving brand and company cleanliness targets.
- Ensure guest requests are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain presentation standards across all hotel areas.
- Driving Operational Excellence
- Assist with rota planning and labour management to ensure efficient staffing levels.
- Support stock control and ordering of housekeeping supplies.
- Maintain accurate housekeeping systems, records, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance and Food & Beverage departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Assist in managing external suppliers and contracted services where required.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
- Promote safe working practices throughout the department.
- Support the implementation of company policies and brand standards.
- Assist with audits and quality assurance initiatives.

- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or leadership role.
