Featuring 352 sophisticated rooms and 10 meeting spaces, the hotel is within walking distance of the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the London Stadium, home of West Ham Football club.

The Role:

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue across business segments, with a strong focus on the entertainment and extended-stay markets, while maximising profitability for both Hyatt Regency & Hyatt House Manchester and Hyatt Regency London Stratford & Hyatt House London Stratford. The role involves managing a list of accounts as well as developing new accounts & business across all markets focusing on Entertainment and long stay.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow strategic partnerships within the entertainment and extended-stay sectors, ensuring profitable and well-managed accounts.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities through market intelligence, industry networking, competitive analysis, and proactive prospecting.
  • Drive targeted revenue growth aligned with commercial strategy and budget objectives, with particular focus on production, crew, project-based and long-stay demand.
  • Develop and execute Sales Action Plans tailored to key market segments and priority accounts.
  • Proactively manage and convert all qualified leads, maximising production and length-of-stay opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver focused sales activity, including client meetings and industry events, with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain strong awareness of competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends within the entertainment and extended-stay landscape.
  • Provide monthly reporting on activity, account performance, and market conditions impacting your portfolio.
  • Host client entertainment, site visits, and familiarisation trips to strengthen relationships and showcase both properties.
  • Support wider Commercial initiatives and contribute to the overall performance of both Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House properties.

About you:

Ideally, you will have gained experience and developed strong market knowledge of Manchester and/or London in a similar role, preferably within an upscale or lifestyle hotel environment. A solid understanding of the entertainment sector and extended-stay demand would be highly advantageous.
