Duties & Responsibilities as a Team Leader β City Lounge
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the City Lounge, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise, coach, and support a team of colleagues, including full-time, casual staff, and trainees, to achieve high performance.
- Set clear objectives for team members aligned with departmental goals and regularly review progress.
- Communicate departmental strategies and updates effectively in collaboration with senior management.
- Maintain strong team communication through briefings, meetings, and operational updates.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by implementing action plans and ensuring customer satisfaction standards are consistently met.
- Train and empower team members to confidently resolve guest queries and concerns.
- Manage staff scheduling, labour costs, and support payroll processes in line with business targets.
- Monitor and uphold service standards, appearance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive team culture by supporting colleague wellbeing, encouraging development, and recognising achievements.
