About Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill: Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is located in the prestigious Marylebone area of London’s West End, overlooking the gardens of Portman Square and just moments from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Inspired by the legacy of Sir Winston Churchill, the hotel reflects a sense of British heritage and timeless style. The hotel features 440 elegant guestrooms including 50 suites, along with 11 versatile meeting and event spaces hosting a wide range of corporate events and social occasions. Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, storage, organisation, and distribution of clean linen across hotel operations.
- Maintain the cleanliness, order, and presentation of linen rooms, storage areas, chemical rooms, and other back‑of‑house spaces.
- Accurately count, track, and record clean, soiled, and rejected linen to support stock control and minimise losses.
- Assist with linen ordering processes and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Deliver guest requests promptly, including extra beds, baby cots, and other items required to enhance the guest experience.
- Support room conversions, furniture movements, and special housekeeping projects as required.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and equipment faults within housekeeping service areas.
- Work collaboratively with the wider hotel team to support housekeeping, public area cleaning, and operational requirements where needed.
About you:
You are a reliable, proactive, and organised individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards and supporting a busy operation. Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, logistics, or a similar role is advantageous, with hotel experience beneficial but not essential. You have good attention to detail, can manage physical tasks safely and efficiently, and are comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent service are essential, as is the ability to follow health and safety procedures and maintain accurate records.
