Shift Engineer role supporting maintenance and repair operations across the hotel property.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the engineering team to deliver tasks and repairs across the property.
- Carry out engineering work in guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, ensuring high standards and supporting a positive guest experience.
- Handle general engineering tasks across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, air‑conditioning, fire protection, carpentry and plumbing, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Complete planned preventive engineering work within plant rooms, guest rooms and public areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, with particular attention to safety features and the condition of operational equipment.
Schedule
Available working hours will vary each week and may range from 0 to 40 hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel engineering preferred.
- Broad technical knowledge across disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
- Professional, reliable and detail‑oriented, comfortable working independently or collaboratively as part of a team, maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence at all times.
