Job Summary

The Clayfield is a new 102‑room luxury boutique hotel opening in Niagara‑on‑the‑Lake, part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

The Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will provide exceptional therapeutic massage treatments and support the spa’s high standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and guest care under the direction of the Spa Director.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional massage therapy treatments while ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Conduct professional consultations and customize treatments based on guest needs and health history.
  • Recommend appropriate home‑care and retail products to support treatment results.
  • Maintain accurate client treatment records and documentation.
  • Prepare treatment rooms before and after each service, maintaining exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure linens, supplies, and equipment are fully stocked and maintained.
  • Support overall spa presentation by assisting with light housekeeping throughout the spa.
  • Build guest loyalty through genuine hospitality and personalized service.
  • Work collaboratively with aestheticians, spa attendants, reception, and leadership to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Participate in pre‑opening training, product education, and ongoing professional development.
  • Follow all Health Canada, CMTO, hotel, and workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Support additional operational duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • Previous experience in luxury spa, hotel spa, wellness, or clinical environments preferred.
  • Exceptional guest service and communication skills.
  • Strong professionalism and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of retail recommendations and guest education.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with flexibility to support daily operations.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
