Duties and responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for the HR department, welcoming visitors and colleagues while handling daily queries efficiently and professionally.
- Manage the HR inbox, responding to all emails and queries in a timely, accurate, and knowledgeable manner.
- Provide comprehensive HR administrative support, including preparing letters, references, and other employee documentation.
- Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding (including preparing starter packs and contracts) through to leaver processes.
- Process employee status changes such as transfers, promotions, and updates within the HR system.
- Prepare and distribute colleague communications across various platforms, including posters, digital channels, and social media.
- Build strong working relationships across departments, offering support and guidance where required.
- Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring all employee data is accurate and compliant with data protection standards.
- Verify employee eligibility and right-to-work documentation in line with legal requirements.
About you
- You have a strong interest in Human Resources within the hospitality industry, ideally supported by some prior HR exposure or relevant operational experience in a service-driven environment.
- Highly organized and adaptable, you are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- With a genuine people-first mindset, you enjoy supporting team members across the employee lifecycle and contributing to a positive, engaged workplace culture.
