As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class wellness experience while leading a high-performing team that embodies Hyatt’s purpose of care.
- Supervise daily activities of the housekeeping attendants
- Establish and inform staff on hygiene standards.
- Able to resolve any issues that occur on the job
- Allocates room to housekeeping attendants according to the system implemented in the hotel
- Check and monitor guest rooms and common areas
- Inspect guest rooms properly before releasing the rooms for occupancy.
- Ensuring all discrepancies are reported in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
- Provide support to Managers in assigning work tasks and duties of housekeeping attendants.
- Communicate with all team members in a respectful way.
- Ensure records of daily assignments are completed.
- Clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment
- Document and report issues arise during the shift to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Supports the implementation of Hyatt Brand Standards, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
- Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
- Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Respond to changes in the housekeeping function as required by the industry, company and hotel.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Certification in related field preferred.
- 2-4+ years of progressive housekeeping hotel experience
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Previous experience with international hospitality brands preferred.
