Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is conveniently tucked away in upmarket Marylebone, located in the heart of London’s West End, featuring views over the charming gardens of Portman Square. With 440 sophisticated guestrooms including 50 suites, many of which have been recently refurbished, plus 11 distinctive meeting spaces, the hotel offers a full range of services tailored to serve the needs of business and leisure travellers alike.
About the role: Reporting to the Area Vice President/General Manager, we are looking for a Hotel Manager to join our team. You will ensure the smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects of The Churchill, which includes Food and Beverage, Rooms, Housekeeping, Engineering and Security, and work closely with the Sales & Marketing, Finance and HR teams. Together with the Area Vice President/General Manager, you will foster strong human connections with our guests, partners and colleagues and oversee the management of the hotel on a day-to-day basis. You will ensure that the various departments are profitable and run according to corporate strategy, brand standards and defined targets for Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill.
About you: You will have substantial international experience in the 5* hotel environment and will already be a Hotel Manager or Director of Operations (or similar) in a large, fast-paced operation. You will have a background and in-depth knowledge in the Rooms function. A people-focused team player, who operates with a genuine care for the well-being of guests and colleagues alike, you believe passionately in creating and supporting a caring environment that allows people to be their best. You are a natural leader, an excellent communicator with ‘presence’ and great interpersonal skills. With a smart appearance, an inquisitive nature and the desire to achieve the best, you will be a good problem solver, committed to delivering exceptional service. Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Hotel management.
