What you will do as a Groups & Events Sales Executive:
- Receive and convert incoming enquiries to ensure they are meeting their financial quotas as well as exceeding total revenue goals.
- Work with the MICE & Groups Sales Manager to set clear strategies and goals to enhance account performance and achieve annual budgeted targets.
- Collaborate with the Event Planning team to create memorable, well-executed and sophisticated group bookings and events for a wide range of clientele with an aim of creating repeat guests.
- Ensure all customers are responded to quickly and efficiently and within agreed guidelines and fully qualify leads to create tailored proposals.
- Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
- Conduct site inspections and meet with clients to discuss their requirements (entertaining of clients may be required in the evenings and weekends).
- Conduct regular Competitor Analysis and maintain a good working knowledge of the marketplace, trends, opportunities, and pricing.
- Work closely with Hyatt Sales Force to ensure they understand the strategic direction of the hotel and deliver the required level of support to help develop and retain national and international accounts.
Qualifications:
- You are a pro-active, confident, ambitious and outgoing person with great people skills.
- Build relationships easily.
- You have great language and written skills in English.
- You are eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
- You thrive through the buzz of working in a dynamic team and in a great hotel.
- You are eager to learn and grow.
- Previous experience in a Sales role is preferred.
