Duties and responsibilities related to the Food and Beverage Supervisor role
- Lead, motivate and develop the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold Hyatt brand standards.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and events spaces, ensuring service, presentation and cleanliness are consistently maintained.
- Maximise revenue opportunities through outstanding service, effective teamwork and operational excellence.
- Build strong relationships with guests, handling requests and resolving concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Conduct team briefings, training and performance reviews to support colleague development and engagement.
- Manage staffing, payroll, ordering and stock control in line with departmental budgets and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, security and cash-handling procedures at all times.
- Foster positive working relationships across all departments and actively contribute to a collaborative team culture.
- Maintain a professional appearance and high standards of personal conduct, while promoting Hyatt values and participating in colleague engagement initiatives.
- Remain flexible to support other departments and undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet operational and guest needs.
About You
Previous experience in a premium hospitality setting is preferred. You have strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and proficiency in conversational English to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
