What you will do as an Executive Housekeeper:

  • Establish and maintain a harmonious working and professional relationship with guests, Housekeeping Department, Front Office Department, and all Andaz Employees.
  • Be aware of, adhere to and assure that all the Housekeeping team follow hotel rules and policies at all times.
  • Oversee and manage the housekeeping operation to ensure our guests receive an outstanding, seamless, 5-star service and the highest levels of cleanliness, condition and working order.
  • Ensure employee grooming standards are immaculate at all times.
  • Complete all tasks on their designated task list in a timely and efficient manner and ensure all necessary follow-up and communication is complete prior to ending their shift.
  • Carry out regular checks of all areas daily.
  • Participate in housekeeping briefings and act upon this knowledge (dealing with team feedback, issues and requests) and share with colleagues to ensure a smooth operation and to provide exceptional 5-star service at all times.
  • Identify training needs and lead the housekeeping training and development program and provide continuous on-the-job coaching.
  • Ensure that all jobs and ‘We Cares’ are completed and followed up as a matter of urgency whilst focusing solely on guest satisfaction to be of paramount importance.
  • Supervise, motivate and coach the Housekeeping team in the performance of their duties.
  • Motivate, drive and monitor the Housekeeping team with regards to cleaning standards, flash inspections, and Hyatt feedback.
  • Ensure Public Areas are kept immaculate at all times.
