Duties and Responsibilities for the Security Officer Role
- Carry out day-to-day security tasks, including monitoring access control, conducting patrols, and assisting with emergency response procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in identifying security vulnerabilities during routine checks and promptly report any risks or incidents.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, and facilities, to support security-related needs.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances as needed.
- Keep accurate records of incidents and report to supervisors regularly.
About You
Previous experience in hotel security roles and possession of an SIA license are essential. You should have strong leadership and communication skills. Flexibility to work all shifts is required.
