We believe that hotels should be more than just places to sleep—they should be destinations, experiences, and moments in time that guests remember long after they leave. That’s why we challenge the status quo, bringing bold ideas, unconventional luxury, and immersive culture to everything we do. The Lifestyle Group by Hyatt is a newly established collective of experience, design and culture driven hotel brands, formed in January 2024 following Hyatt's acquisition of Standard International, the parent company of The Standard and Bunkhouse Hotels brands. The Lifestyle Group brings together bold creative vision and global scale. Our portfolio includes The Standard, Bunkhouse Hotels, The StandardX, The Manner, Andaz, Thompson, Dream, JdV, Breathless, and me and all; each with its own point of view, all driven by culture, design, and community.
We’re now on the lookout for a Design Manager, Lifestyle, EAME, based in London, to join our Design & Creative Services team and help bring this vision to life across the EAME region. ResponsibilitiesAs the Design Manager, Lifestyle, EAME, you’ll support the creative development and delivery of design-forward hospitality projects across our Lifestyle brands. Working closely with the Design Department and Business Development teams, you’ll help shape projects from early concept through execution, ensuring each one reflects its brand DNA while pushing boundaries. You’ll assist with preparing scopes of work, requests for proposals, and project schedules, and support coordination with consultants and vendors across new builds and renovations.
Day to day, you’ll help manage internal timelines and milestones, working cross-functionally with development, marketing, nightlife, and other Lifestyle Group teams to keep projects moving forward. You’ll support clear and accurate reporting on active, pending, and completed projects, maintain organised project documentation and file flow for global access, and ensure information is distributed accurately and on time. You’ll also help maintain brand design standards, toolkits, and guidelines, supporting consistent design execution across markets while allowing space for creativity and local relevance. You’ll participate in project kick-offs, design workshops, and consultant meetings as a creative representative of The Lifestyle Group, acting as a brand design advocate and helping ensure every project aligns with our creative ambition, cultural relevance, and experiential spirit.
